When I’m watching Christmas films with my children over the next couple of weeks, I love to have something to do with my hands. That way I get to feel at least a little bit productive (while actually lazing around with Christmas sweets and glasses of Baileys).
So, right now I’m knitting a lace patterned scarf in a muted pink acrylic yarn. I got this yarn from yvonne at yvestown blog a couple of years ago when she had a wool shop on her site. Most of us have sensitive skin in this family and some wools are very irritating. An acrylic fibre solves this problem but many of them have an icky plastic feeling and are not nice to knit with. This one feels soft and pleasant to use. It’s called Annell Rapido, colour 3251. I highly recommend it if you have a problem with sensitive skin.
The scarf pattern is from this book:
