Sevington Victorian School

Dressed for a day at Sevington Victorian School. Lesson drills, corporal punishment, sitting up straight, walking in lines, no running, yes ma’am, no ma’am, lunch wrapped in paper, polished shoes, clean fingernails, strict Victorian teacher… I think besides the history lesson it is supposed to instill a sense a thankfulness for schools these days, but Emily loved it and said she wished school was always like this!
She especially loved writing with a dip pen, and has been practicing with one at home.
